Our Cleaning Process: What You Can Expect
1. Make Sure You Never Run Out of Ice
Before we begin, we make sure all your ice bins are full and bag extra ice as needed. This keeps your team fully supplied while the machine is offline — no downtime for your operation.
2. Arrival & Inspection
We perform a quick inspection of your ice machine to check for scale buildup, mold, airflow issues, and any signs of mechanical problems. This helps us understand what your machine needs and prevents surprises.
3. Run Descaler Through the Machine
We run a nickel‑safe descaler through the machine on a cleaning cycle. This breaks down internal scale and mineral buildup in the water system, helping restore proper flow, efficiency, and ice quality.
4. Disassembly of Key Components
We remove all applicable internal parts — including the water distribution system, curtain, trough, and other removable components — so every surface can be cleaned thoroughly and safely.
5. Reassemble & Sanitize the System
After the internal parts are cleaned, we reassemble the machine and run sanitizer through the system to disinfect all water‑contact surfaces. We also spray the ice bin with a sanitizer mix to ensure the entire ice‑contact area is clean, safe, and food‑service compliant.
6. Exterior Polishing
We clean and polish the exterior stainless steel using professional products to keep your equipment looking sharp and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
7. Condenser Coil Cleaning (If Self‑Contained)
If your machine is self‑contained, we clean the condenser coil as needed to improve cooling efficiency and extend the life of your machine.
8. Clean the Air Filter (If Present)
If your machine has an air filter, we remove it and clean it thoroughly. A clean air filter improves airflow, reduces strain on the system, and helps the machine run more efficiently.
9. Final System Check
Once everything is cleaned and sanitized, we run a full operational check — water flow, harvest cycles, and temperature performance — to ensure everything is working properly.
10. Final Review & Recommendations
We walk you through what we found, what we cleaned, and any issues to keep an eye on. If we notice anything that may require a technician, we’ll let you know right away.
